Emmys names its first-ever Black executive producer

Reginald Hudlin, who earned an Emmy nomination for co-producing the 2016 Chris Rock-hosted Oscars, will serve as executive producer of this year's Jimmy Kimmel-hosted Primetime Emmys ceremony. “I’m excited to collaborate with this outstanding team as we produce a show that celebrates the best of what we do and reflects this moment in history,” said Hudlin.
