ESPN will cover the Beijing Winter Olympics remotely

After sending five news employees to Tokyo for last year's Summer Olympics, ESPN planned to send four for the Beijing Winter Olympics. But ESPN has opted to cover the Winter Games remotely because of the pandemic. ESPN's decision comes after NBC Sports said its announcers will cover the games remotely from Connecticut.
