Disney villains TV series Book of Enchantment is in the works at Disney+

An adaptation of Serena Valentino's Villains book series is reportedly being made for Disney's new streaming service. "No one would comment but I hear that Book Of Enchantment is envisioned as an epic universe that weaves classic Disney tales told in a brand new way," reports Deadline's Nellie Andreeva, adding that showrunner Michael Seitzman is "writing a pilot script and a bible for the series." Valentino has published five books revolving around Disney villains, with a sixth one coming out this year.
