CNN reporter Sara Sidner confronted on live TV over Daunte Wright protest coverage

In a remarkable exchange Monday night, a local demonstrator angrily told the CNN correspondent that the media’s presence in the town of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota was making things “worse,” accusing the press of doing “extra sh*t to make people look crazier” during the protests over the police killing of Wright on Sunday. “You all be twisting up the story,” the man said as he passed Sidner during a live shot. Asked to give his thoughts about the current state of events, the man said that “all the press and all the extra shit you all do is make this worse,” prompting the CNN reporter to wonder aloud if he believes that to be true. “What I think about this is all the press and all the extra sh*t y’all do makes this worse,” the unnamed man shouted back. “You get what the f*ck I’m saying?!”
