Alec Baldwin recalls Lorne Michaels talking him out of quitting his SNL Trump impression

Baldwin explained to Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show Sunday why he's still doing Trump after saying in June he was "so done" with the impression. “(Lorne) gets me on the phone the Friday before the show, the day before the show, and he’s like, ‘I don’t think you understand,’ and I go, ‘What don’t I understand? I’ve been thinking about it all summer. Every day I’ve been thinking about it.’ And he said, ‘I don’t think you understand how important this is,’” Baldwin said. “So (Lorne) said to me, ‘You should come and do it, your audience demands it’ or something like that,” Baldwin added. “So I came, and I did it. And I’m going to do it a few times.”
