ABC bringing Jeopardy!'s James Holzhauer, Ken Jennings and Brad Rutter back for game show The Chase

The View's Sara Haines will host the remake of the British game show The Chase starring the three Jeopardy! Greatest of All Time tournament contestants. ABC has given The Chase a nine-episode order. "The show sees contestants competing against a professional quizzer, known as the Chaser, whose aim is to prevent the contestants from winning a cash prize. Holzhauer, Jennings and Rutter will take turns as the Chaser," per Deadline, which originally reported that the remake was in the works in July. "The contestants must answer general-knowledge questions in a series of cash-builder and head-to-head rounds before trying to win a cash prize in the final chase." The Chase has been a hit for ITV since 2009. It was remade on GSN in 2013 with Holzhauer as a contestant.
