Tennis star Venus Williams has always kept her personal life away from the public. This changed in mid-2024 when she was seen with Andrea Preti, an Italian model and producer.

They were first seen as a pair in July, and by early 2025, Williams had a diamond ring on when seen with Preti, which began speculation of engagement.

Who is Andrea Preti?

Preti was born in Denmark in 1988 and moved to Italy during his teenage years. He started out as a model but eventually shifted to acting, building a name for himself both in front of and behind the camera.

He trained at the Susan Batson Studio in New York, where he learned the craft of acting. Over time, he took on roles in films, TV shows, and commercials.

In 2014, he wrote, directed, and starred in One More Day, showing his skills across different areas of filmmaking. He also appeared in the Italian TV series A Professor.

By 2023, he gained more public attention with his role in the film Temptation and his appearance on the reality show La Talpa.

Venus Williams confirms engagement to actor Andrea Preti after DC Open win

At the Mubadala Citi DC Open 2025, after her game, Venus Williams, aged 45, shared big news: she's set to marry 37-year-old Italian actor Andrea Preti.

She let the news slip after beating Peyton Stearns, her first singles win in almost two years.

Her words, "My fiancée is here," said with a big smile, made the crowd go wild.
