Sasha had been helping her friend Edna, who was attacked at a party by a rich man, Alex Feldman. Sasha went to find evidence to help Edna. Burgess and Edna helped catch Alex, but he only admitted to pushing Sasha, not killing her.

The real killer was Lily, Sasha’s best friend. She was jealous that Sasha was leaving Canaryville and getting ahead in life. Lily killed Sasha and tried to make it look like someone else did it. Her father tried to cover it up, but both Lily and her dad were arrested.
