Are Olivia and Brendan still together on Welcome to Plathville? Details explored

The latest episode of Plathville aired on July 29, 2025, and continues to showcase the lives of the Plath family and their relationship dynamics.

One of the primary storylines is of Olivia Plath and her boyfriend, Brendan, after she broke up with Ethan Plath.

Olivia first introduced Brendan to viewers during Season 6. He has not been seen on-screen yet during Season 7, but her recent Instagram posts suggest they are still together.

As far as we know, he has not made an appearance in any of the new episodes, but Olivia has not mentioned a breakup with Brendan.

Also, Olivia relocated to Washington, D.C. in late 2024 to be closer to Brendan, who works full-time as a pet sitter.

Their relationship was shown in Season 6 of Welcome to Plathville when they took a trip to Sedona, Arizona. There, they spent time by a fire and said “I love you” to each other.

On the show, Brendan said, “I’m a head-first kind of guy,” showing how serious he was about their connection.

While Olivia has been more private lately, there is no clear sign that the relationship has ended. For now, it seems they are still together, even if off-camera.

While working as a wedding and elopement photographer in Washington, D.C., Olivia met Brendan. On one of her photo shoots, the couple Olivia was photographing wanted their dog in the pictures.

Brendan was the dog's walker and showed up with the dog. Olivia later said that there was "flirty eye contact" between the two of them, and that instance was the start of them getting to know one another and ultimately dating.

They soon realized they both loved animals. Olivia grew up on a farm, so she was used to being around animals.

Brendan, on the other hand, had smaller pets like frogs and gerbils as a child because his dad was allergic to dogs. Now, he works full-time as a pet sitter.

“Olivia, I think she loves animals just as much as I do. It would be a lie to say we didn’t bond over animals” Brendan said during a September 2024 episode.

The couple got matching sea turtle tattoos while on vacation in the Bahamas. Olivia stated that the tattoo was a sign of a new part of her life, and she didn't remove the previous one she had with Ethan. She said,

“When I look at [the playing card tattoo], I think of the first 25 years of my life… and when I look at [the turtle tattoo], I think of who I am now.”

The couple has traveled together, but Brendan hasn’t appeared in Season 7 of Welcome to Plathville

Welcome to Plathville stars Brendan and Olivia traveled to the Bahamas, the Netherlands, and other places together, while mixing in Olivia’s photography work.

One trip featured on the show was in Sedona, Arizona, where they spent a weekend relaxing together and sharing how they feel about one another.

Olivia later joked on Instagram about how often she repeated “I love you,” writing,

“Guess feeling loved and in love can bring out the goober in some of us.”

Although Brendan was in Season 6 of Welcome to Plathville and did not show up on Season 7 after its release on July 22, 2025.

That has made fans question the current status of their relationship, but Olivia’s post on her birthday in April 2025 showed pictures of Brendan, and there has not been an announcement about a breakup.

Although his absence may lead some to speculate, current updates suggest that Olivia and Brendan are still together privately.
