What has happened in the Grosse Pointe Garden Society season 1 so far?
 

Grosse Pointe Garden Society season 1 sees new personal problems arise for the lead characters, Catherine, Birdie, Alice, and Brett. While Catherine’s marriage is no longer in danger, her parents have decided to get divorced and have hired her as the realtor to sell their family house. 

Similarly, Alice’s relationship with Doug is better than ever, but Alice’s mother-in-law, Patty, is still trying to convince her to have a baby. So, Alice invites her home and asks her to babysit her new dog, Gail. Things go sideways when Alice accuses Patty of having leaked the information about the dog to their landlord. As Patty leaves, her words suggest that she might have in involved in Alice’s previous dog, Molly’s murder.

Brett’s ex-wife, Melissa, shifts to Brett’s place because Connor does not want the infected kids to affect his health. Brett and Melissa work as a team to bring their kids back to health. After the kids get better, Brett and Melissa have a moment of weakness where they kiss. Connor seems to have information about this through the personal investigator he hired to look into Brett.

Birdie’s estranged son, Ford, knows the truth about her being his biological mother. Birdie is no longer dating Joel, but after a health scare, she finds out that she is pregnant with Joel’s baby. In the future timeline, Misty learns about this and wants nothing to do with the other woman. However, Birdie gets into the car that Misty, working as a valet, is supposed to retrieve from the gala venue's parking lot.
