Did Ana de Armas and Tom Cruise break up? Speculation is swirling after fresh reports about their fast-moving relationship

Word on the street is that Tom Cruise and Ana De Armas are no longer a couple. Media outlets have reported that the Blonde actress ended things with the Mission Impossible actor because she felt the relationship was moving too fast.

Sources close to the couple reportedly stated that they have agreed to remain good friends regardless of rumors swirling around them:

'They are going to remain good friends, but they aren't dating anymore. They just realized they wouldn't go far and are better off as mates."

They added:

'The spark had gone between them, but they still love each other's company, and they've both been really adult about it. She's already been cast in his next film, so they will continue to work together.'

Tom Cruise and Ana De Armas' relationship timeline explored 

The Hollywood actors initially sparked dating rumors when they were photographed buying dinner together in London on Valentine's Day Eve. The US Weekly reported that the duo had met in February 2025 as they worked on a movie together,

But had ended up dating each other. They were spotted together on several occasions after that. In May 2025, they attended football legend David Beckham’s 50th birthday celebration in Notting Hill.
 

The Daily Mail reported via a source that the 63-year-old actor had been showering Armas with gifts since they got together. 

"First, it started with her favorite flowers, then books he thought she would want to read because she's an avid reader."

The insider added: "The more they got to know each other, the bigger the gifts became. There was jewelry like gold bracelets, designer clothing, and things every girl would love."
 

They noted that the biggest gift Cruise had given De Armas was the ability “to go anywhere in the world at a moment's notice”

Ana De Armas appeared on Good Morning America in May 2025, where she recalled  how it felt to work with Cruise on the same set:

“It’s so much fun and we're working on many things. There have not just been one but a few projects with [filmmakers] Doug Liman, Christopher McQuarrie, and, of course, Tom. And I'm so excited."
