Ross' Date Was a Monkey at the First Ever Friends New Year's Eve Party

It's late December 1994, and Monica Geller is throwing the first ever Friends New Year's Eve party, and although it's a fancy-dress occasion for everyone, it certainly isn't good times all around. 

Chandler is suffering through an accidental reunion with Janice, Rachel got beat up over a taxi, Joey's date brought her kids, Fun Bobby's grandfather died, and Ross's date was his monkey, Marcel.

Oh, this is also the first one with the monkey. The episode is called "The One With the Monkey."
