It wouldn't be Halloween without The View's annual spectacular, and this year, the ladies one-upped themselves as iconic television characters.

As always, the episode began with a pre-taped bit that saw the co-hosts, gathered on a 1960s sitcom set, debate what to do for Halloween. With an assist from a Whoopi, who appeared in a Twilight Zone episode on the screen before them, they settled on "famous TV shows," a theme that offered everyone a chance to show off their creativity.

While Whoopi, Sunny Hostin, and Sara Haines opted for more modern costumes — they were dressed as a handmaid, Bridgerton's Queen Charlotte, and Schitt's Creek's Moira Rose, respectively — the other half of the panel threw it back as Carrie Bradshaw (Alyssa Farah Griffin), Katey Sagal in Married... With Children (Joy Behar, a cigarette dangling from her mouth), and The Love Boat's Charo (Ana Navarro). Even executive producer Brian Teta got in on the fun as Ted Lasso, explaining he wanted to see if he could rock a mustache.

After the ladies explained the inspiration behind their costumes — Griffin called Sex and the City progressive, which is an interesting take — Charo herself came through the set door, surprising Navarro and the audience alike. Charo's interview was an absolute delight, as actress and singer explained she's wearing her original Love Boat costume, with a few adjustments to accommodate her new "maracas." As she said, in a sing-song voice, "Por favor, por favor, lift my ass up off the floor!"

The Halloween spook-tacular continued with The View's annual newsworthy kids costume parade, which featured one child dressed as Will Smith's Oscars slap (yes, really). The women then sat down with Randall Park, dressed in his Blockbuster uniform, and The White Lotus star Aubrey Plaza, who accused Behar of "having sex with my ghost" in a callback to last week's many spooky Hot Topics. Maybe next year the co-hosts can dress as Behar's many ghostly conquests?

Happy Halloween, View-ers! May your holiday be as joyous as Charo's surprise appearance.
