The Resort is making the jump from Peacock to NBC with a special airing on the broadcast network.

In hopes of boosting viewership, NBCUniversal will air The Resort premiere this Wednesday, August 24 at 9:00 PM ET, immediately after America's Got Talent's live results show. According to The Hollywood Reporter, AGT ranks as NBC's most-watched show of the summer for the 16th year in a row.

The Resort, a dark comedy starring William Jackson Harper and Cristin Milioti, premiered July 28 on Peacock. The series debuted with three episodes, but only the first will air on NBC — though the broadcast will include what THR describes as a "substantial teaser" for Episode 2, which viewers can find on the streaming service.

Created by Andy Siara (Palm Springs) and produced by Sam Esmail (Mr. Robot), The Resort stars Harper and Milioti as a married couple who travel to Mexico to celebrate their 10th anniversary. While on vacation, they stumble upon evidence from a 15-year-old missing persons case, but as they begin to investigate, they discover a much more complicated mystery.

In his review for Primetimer, Joe Reid described the comedy as a "twisty, genre-bending journey" that's "best experienced without knowing much about where it's headed or what it's going to be like when it gets there."

The Resort airs Wednesday at 9:00 PM ET on NBC. New episodes drop on Peacock every Thursday through September 1.
