Mike Judge's Beavis and Butt-Head Series Reboot Gets a Paramount+ Premiere Date and Trailer

The new series premieres August 4.
  • Less than a month after the release of the movie Beavis and Butt-Head Do the Universe, Paramount+ has issued a trailer and a premiere date for the new reboot series built around Mike Judge's classic Gen X animated characters.

Those worried that Beavis and/or Butt-Head might have matured in the 30 years since their original series debut can rest easy, as the new trailer sees them up their same old idiotic tricks.

Upon its original announcement, series creator (and the voice of both characters) Mike Judge quipped of Beavis and Butt-Head's return, "It seemed like the time was right to get stupid again."

Premiering on August 4, Mike Judge's Beavis and Butt-Head will mark the show's second revival after MTV brought it back for a failed Season 8 in 2011.

Paramount+ recently announced that newly remastered editions of all 200 episodes of the original Beavis and Butt-Head will also be made available on the streaming platform, including all of the original music video segments, most of which haven't been available for decades.
