Los Espookys Season 2 Promises a Return to the Horror Business in Campy Teaser

Season 2 premieres September 16 on HBO.
  • After a three-year hiatus, Los Espookys is finally returning for Season 2, which promises more mysteries, thrills, and laughs as a group of friends continue turning their shared passion for horror into a business.

The bilingual comedy series follows the friends as they work on expanding their business to provide horror to clients who need it. Meanwhile, their everyday lives remain equally strange and eerie.

HBO's just-released teaser promises Los Espookys Season 2 will be even "more fantastic, more mysterious, and more Espookier than before."

Los Espookys is created by Fred Armisen, Ana Fabrega and Julio Torres, who also star alongside Cassandra Ciangherotti and Bernardo Velasco.

According to HBO, Season 2 finds Los Espookys leader Renaldo (Velasco) haunted by the ghost of a beauty pageant queen. Meanwhile, Ursula (Ciangherotti) enlists an old acquaintance to challenge the political status quo, while her sister Tati (Febrega) adjusts to life as a newlywed. And as Renaldo's best friend, Andrés (Torres) battles his literal inner demons, Uncle Tico (Armisen) searches for a new purpose after hitting a roadblock in his valet career.

The six-episode season premieres September 16 on HBO.

Los Espookys Season 1 is available to stream on HBO Max.
