William Jackson Harper and Cristin Milioti to lead Palm Springs writer's The Resort on Peacock

Love Life's Harper and Made for Love's Milioti have joined The Resort, Andy Siara's Peacock comedic thriller that explores love, marriage and family vacations, set amidst one of the Mayan Riviera’s most bizarre unsolved mysteries. Milioti's role reunites her with Siara, who wrote the acclaimed 2020 film Palm Springs. Mr. Robot creator Sam Esmail will serve as executive producer. The Righteous Gemstones' Skyler Gisondo will also star, with Ben Sinclair and Parvesh Cheena in recurring roles. According to The Hollywood Reporter, "the eight-episode series will unfold in two separate timelines. In the present, an anniversary trip puts a marriage to the test when the couple (Harper and Milioti) finds themselves embroiled in one of the Mayan Riviera’s most bizarre unsolved mysteries that took place 15 years prior." The five actors join a cast that also includes regulars Luis Gerardo Méndez, Nina Bloomgarden and Gabriela Cartol and recurring guest stars Debby Ryan, Dylan Baker, Michael Hitchcock and Becky Ann Baker.
