Why did the Grammys overlook Alex Trebek in nominating Ken Jennings for Best Spoken Word Album?

Book publisher Simon & Schuster submitted both Trebek and Jennings for the award since they both read the audiobook for the Jeopardy! host's memoir, The Answer is ... Reflections on My Life. Yet only Jennings earned a nomination. "This should 100% be Alex's Grammy nomination," tweeted Jennings. "He wrote the book and reads much of the audiobook! Who do I speak to about this."
