This week's episode of the FX vampire comedy featured a surprisingly large number of celebrity cameos. “The idea came up when we were first in the writers’ room, mapping out the season,” says executive producer Paul Simms. “Jemaine (Clement) had the idea of the vampire tribunal. He said, ‘And then we’ll have all these famous vampires from movies and TV.’ And I was like, ‘Yeah, we’re not going to get those. It would be impossible.’”
