Wendy Williams defends Kelly Ripa after The Bachelor creator suggested his show paid her salary

Williams agreed with Ripa that The Bachelor could be degrading. Williams also responded to Mike Fleiss' tweet to Ripa, claiming "#TheBachelor franchise pays your salary!" “Well, if memory serves me, Kelly Ripa has been at ABC … longer than The Bachelor‘s been on," said Williams. "She jumped into an already successful show, she continued to keep it an already successful show, so if anybody’s paying anybody’s salary, just saying."
