Vince Vaughn to star in Bill Lawrence's Apple TV+ drama Bad Monkey

Apple TV+ has given a series order to Ted Lasso co-creator Lawrence's adaptation of Carl Hiaasen's 2013 novel Bad Monkey. "It tells the story of Andrew Yancy (Vaughn), a one-time detective demoted to restaurant inspector in Southern Florida," per Variety. "A severed arm found by a tourist out fishing pulls Yancy into the world of greed and corruption that decimates the land and environment in both Florida and the Bahamas. And yes, there’s a monkey." Bad Monkey will mark Lawrence's second Apple TV+ series after Ted Lasso.
