Valley Girl star Josh Whitehouse recalls starring on the canceled Game of Thrones prequel without ever filming a scene

"I got the audition, I got the job and then I spent a year and a half waiting for it to actually happen, pre-prod stuff," says the British actor, who stars in the Valley Girl remake that's out this weekend. Whitehouse was supposed to make his debut in the second episode as the male lead. Instead, he's now starring on Amazon's Daisy Jones and the Six. "In a sense, like, Game of Thrones was such a huge thing already, it's kind of nice to not have that pressure, the potential to not live up to expectations and bring something new to the world," he adds. "But either way I would have been happy."
