Tracy Morgan wants a long syndicated future for The Last O.G.: "Keep all the trophies! I want Nick at Nite"

"I want my grandkids to see this," Morgan says of his TBS comedy in a lengthy New Yorker profile that recounts his rise from Def Comedy Jam to SNL to 30 Rock. Unlike NBC's failed The Tracy Morgan Show, which was canceled after the 2003-04 season, Morgan wanted The Last O.G. to bring an authentic portrayal of his life. The Last O.G. isn't made for white viewers, unlike The Tracy Morgan Show's The Cosby Show-like premise.
