Tiger King zoo permanently closes, but owner Jeff Lowe plans to open a new zoo to be used as a private film set

Current owner Jeff Lowe, who was Joe Exotic's business partner, announced via Facebook that he was voluntarily forfeiting his USDA exhibitors license, accusing the USDA of folding to the pressures of PETA. Lowe says he plans to open a new park in Thackerville, Oklahoma will “be a private film set for Tiger King related television content for cable and streaming services."
