The Emperor of Malibu casts Tony nominee Taylor Louderman as female lead

Broadway vet Louderman, who was nominated for a Tony last year for playing Regina George in the Mean Girls musical, will co-star on Crazy Rich Asians author Kevin Kwan's CBS pilot. She'll play a "charming, easygoing classic California blonde" and intellectual property lawyer who wins the heart of the son (Max Willems) of a Chinese billionaire (Ken Jeong).
