Ken Jeong to star in Crazy Rich Asians author's The Emperor of Malibu CBS comedy pilot

Jeong, one of the stars of Crazy Rich Asians, is reuniting with Kevin Kwan on the multicamera comedy pilot about the son of a Chinese tech billionaire who creates controversy in his family by marrying an American woman. Jeong will play the Chinese tech billionaire. Jeong's casting comes off his Valentine's Day Netflix special, You Complete Me, Ho, which was directed by Crazy Rich Asians director Jon M. Chu.
