The Rocky IV and The Expendables co-stars are reteaming for an action drama series that was pitched this week to Fox, CBS, NBC, while also drawing interest from Netflix and Apple. Stallone would serve as executive producer on the untitled project, written by former Numbers executive producer Ken Sanzel, which would have Lundgren playing a covert operative at the Department of Safety and Security at the United Nations. "He is described as U.N’s secret special agent, a one-man S.W.A.T. team and hostage negotiator," according to Deadline, which adds that Stallone may direct the pilot. Stallone and Lundgren have worked together on The Expendables franchise after co-starring as Rocky Balboa and Ivan Drago, respectively, in the hit 1985 film Rocky IV. This would mark Lundgren's first TV series role since guest-starring on Arrow in 2016 and 2017.
