Supernatural's final season will feature a flashback episode

Season 15 will feature The CW drama's first flashback episode since Season 11. “It’s like, ‘What are the types of episodes that we enjoy that makes the show good but also speaks to the characters?'” says co-showrunner Andrew Dabb of revisiting flashbacks. “For a long time, pretty much every season we would do a story that would flash back to a young Sam and Dean story,” he adds. “So this year we’re doing one of those, which we haven’t done for a long, long time.”
