“It was written by me and Colin Jost and Rob Klein and its sort of pulling from the ’80s and some ’90s film troupes of like the bully that’s like riding the nerd the whole movie,” Samberg explained of Late Night "Second Chance Theatre" sketch. “But then when the nerd stands up to the bully, the bully kind of caves and you’re like, yeah! go nerd!’”
