A U.S. District Court judge tossed out the lawsuit, pointing out that the former Alabama Supreme Court judge signed a release before appearing on the show barring him from suing for defamation, fraud, and infliction of emotional distress.. The judge also rejected Moore’s argument that the release was a general release that didn’t extend to claims not known at the time of signing. "Sorry, Roy. Nice try," tweeted Cohen. And this is now part of the legal record: 'Several published articles accused Judge Moore of inappropriate sexual encounters with young females, including one who was underage.'" He also included a clip of his interview with Moore, adding: "Seems like a good day to enjoy this again."
