Nickelodeon orders a second SpongeBob SquarePants spinoff: The Patrick Star Show

SpongeBob's dimwitted best friend has landed his own show, which has been picked up for 13 episodes. Like the first spinoff, Paramount+'s Kamp Koral: SpongeBob’s Under Years, The Patrick Star Show is a prequel series, following a younger Patrick Star (voiced by Bill Fagerbakke), who is still living at home with his family, “where he hosts his own show for the neighborhood from his television-turned-bedroom,” according to the official logline.
