Netflix issues an Our Planet warning to help animal lovers avoid disturbing scenes

Following backlash over "the walrus scene," Netflix has tweeted a list of timestamps that animal lovers might find too graphic in the 10-part climate change documentary series. "As you make your way through @OurPlanet, here are some moments animal lovers may want to skip," Netflix's official Twitter account tweeted. Our Planet producer Sophie Lanfear told The New York Times: "The walrus scenes were the hardest things I’ve ever had to witness or film in my career," adding that the scene is "just tragic. It’s absolutely heartbreaking." On Tuesday, Netflix defended including the graphic scenes after some accused producers of emotional manipulation and twisting facts.
