Maya Rudolph to star in an Apple TV+ comedy in a reunion with Forever creators

The Emmy-winning actress and Emmy-winning Forever creators Alan Yang and Matt Hubbard are reteaming for an untitled half-hour comedy starring Rudolph as Molly, a woman whose seemingly perfect life is upended after her husband leaves her with nothing but 87 billion dollars. Rudolph, who co-starred with Fred Armisen in Yang and Hubbard's short-lived 2018 Amazon comedy Forever, is the latest SNL vet to headline an Apple TV+ series. Jason Sudeikis recently won a Golden Globe for Ted Lasso, Will Ferrell is starring in The Shrink Next Door and Cecily Strong has been tapped to headline Schmigadoon! Rudolph is set to return as host of SNL next week. This marks the second collaboration between Yang and Apple TV+ after working on Little America.
