Martha Stewart is still mad her probation officer wouldn't let her host SNL

Despite Ana Gasteyer famously portraying her, Stewart has never appeared on Saturday Night Live. But she did get an offer to host in the mid-2000s following her five-month stint in prison for insider trading. “My only big regret that I can talk about is that Saturday Night Live asked me to host,” Stewart told Harper's Bazaar. “My probation officer wouldn’t give me the time. That really pissed me off, because I would have loved to have hosted Saturday Night Live. I’d like that on my résumé.”
