The Manhunt: Unabomber team is expected to remain intact when it departs Discovery Channel for Charter Communications, which is closing in on a two-season pickup. Season 2 of Manhunt is going to focus on the bombing at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, from the false accusation made against security guard Richard Jewell to the capture of the real bomber Eric Rudolph. Manhunt is departing Discovery Channel as the cable network moves away from scripted programming.
