Jimmy Kimmel will return to his studio the day after hosting the Primetime Emmys

Kimmel will end his three-month summer break on Sept. 21, with Jimmy Kimmel Live! returning to his show's home at the El Capitan Entertainment Centre, formerly known as the Hollywood Masonic Temple, for the first time since the coronavirus shutdown in March. Jimmy Kimmel Live! will return to its one-hour format. Next week will be Kimmel's final week of guest hosts with Josh Gad, Brad Paisley, John Legend and Samuel L. Jackson filling in before the show goes on hiatus the week of Sept. 14.
