Jeopardy!'s Amy Schneider quits her day job following 40-game win streak

"Some of you may have heard, but I quit my day job yesterday! It's a bit nerve-wracking to pivot from software engineer to... public figure, I guess?" Schneider tweeted Tuesday afternoon. "But regardless of the outcome I'm so excited to spend the next couple years at least tackling this new challenge!" Schneider, who lives in Oakland, California, previously worked as an engineering manager before taking a demotion so that she could fulfill her Jeopardy! duties.
