Jay Leno revealed to be the Ukraine president's hero during the Trump impeachment inquiry

U.S. Ambassador to the European Union Gordon Sondland testified about his friend Leno at the Congressional impeachment inquiry this week. Leno got to meet Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, a former TV comedian, at a June 4 dinner Sondland held in Brussels. Sondland was asked, "Did President Zelensky, as a comedian, get along with Jay Leno?" Sondland responded: "He was honored to meet him. Apparently, Jay Leno was his hero," according to the transcript.
