Jason Mantzoukas wasn't the original choice to voice Tommy Lee's penis on Pam & Tommy

Co-showrunner D.V. DeVincentis originally voiced the animatronic appendage, but Hulu wanted a well-known actor to play the part. It was Seth Rogen who suggested his friend Mantzoukas. “There was no other choice, honestly. I wish I could say he was the second or third,” said Rogen, who in addition to starring as disgruntled contractor Rand Gauthier is also an executive producer. “I don’t know what that says about Jason, but as soon as we knew we needed someone, I said ‘Jason Mantzoukas’ and no one argued. He’s always top of mind for me.”
