James Corden ties a CBS executive to a lie detector to learn the status of his contract negotiations

“Regarding my contract negotiations, do you think CBS will go higher on my new deal?,” the Late Late Show host asked Nick Bernstein, CBs' senior vice president of late night programming, West Coast, on last night show. After a few seconds pause, Bernstein said ‘yes’ and turns out it was true. Corden, whose current contract expires next August, has been in contract talks for months.
