Hasan Minhaj lands on The Morning Show

Three months after Netflix unexpectedly canceled Patriot Act, Minhaj has found a new gig on the Apple TV+ drama series' second season. He'll play Eric, a charismatic rising star who joins The Morning Show team. This will mark Minhaj's highest-profile acting role of his career and his first appearance on a drama series. The Daily Show alum has previously had acting roles on comedies like Arrested Development and The Spy Who Dumped Me. Minhaj is coming off of The Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj, which was canceled after less than two years despite winning an Emmy and a Peabody Award.
