HBO is working on a John McCain documentary

HBO is getting unprecedented access to the ailing U.S. senator, who has been battling brain cancer. The documentary will cover everything from his 5 1/2-years as a prisoner of war in Vietnam to his 31 years as a senator to his 2008 presidential candidacy.  “Through the years, John has rightly earned the reputation as an American hero,” says director Peter Kunhardt. “In the final chapter of his life, he is reminding this generation of what government can and should look like.”
