HBO greenlights limited series starring Mark Ruffalo as twin brothers

HBO's greenlight for the eight-episode I Know This Much Is True, based on Wally Lamb's bestselling novel, comes one year to the day that it was first revealed that Ruffalo would be playing identical twin brothers. According to Deadline, "I Know This Much is True is a family saga that follows the parallel lives of identical twin brothers Dominick and Thomas Birdsey, both played by Ruffalo, in an epic story of betrayal, sacrifice, and forgiveness, set against the backdrop of 20th century America."
