Grumpy Cat dies: Internet sensation starred in her own Lifetime Christmas movie, with Aubrey Plaza as her voice

Grumpy Cat (real name: Tardar Sauce) was born in 2012, skyrocketed to fame as an internet meme in 2013 and became the star of her own Lifetime movie, Grumpy Cat's Worst Christmas Ever, in 2014. Plaza said in promoting the TV movie she wouldn't have landed the role voicing Grumpy if she hadn't played Parks and Recreation's April Ludgate. "It was something that fell into my lap, and everyone around me immediately was like, well, no," Plaza told Parade magazine in 2014. "You’re not doing that. That’s crazy, and I was like, oh, it’s totally crazy, and that’s exactly why I am doing it, and I just thought it would be really fun."
