Friends' HBO Max reunion special to tape next week -- David Schwimmer hints they might partially reprise their characters

The long-delayed special will begin taping next week at the original Warner Bros. Burbank soundstage with Grammys and Late Late Show with James Corden executive producer Ben Winston directing. The special, which was originally scheduled to film last May, had been delayed due to coronavirus crisis. During an appearance on The Graham Norton Show, Schwimmer emphasized that "nothing is scripted, and we are not in character. We are all ourselves, although there is one section of it that I don’t want to give away, but we all read something.”
