The former president called Saturday Night Live "a horrible show now, but it used to be good" during a rally Friday night in Pennsylvania in support of Dr. Oz's Senate campaign, pointing out "I hosted it...to great ratings I might add." While he didn't know James Austin Johnson's name, he referred to Johnson's predecessor Alec Baldwin as a "sick puppy" and made a Rust joke at his expense.
