Disney+ hits 50 million subscribers in less than five months

Disney is now well ahead of its own forecast that pegged a goal of 60 million-90 million global subscriptions by the end of fiscal year 2024. Disney+ was boosted by the recent additions of new countries, including India, Ireland and Britain. India alone accounts for eight million subscribers.
