Longoria will produce Paola Santiago and the River of Tear, a live-action original series based on Tehlor Kay Mejia’s critically claimed novel of the same name, from writer Kevin Rodriguez. Paola Santiago "introduces a teen girl, Paola Santiago, who has always relied on hard science and logic to make sense of the world, unlike her mother, who believes in magic. But folklore becomes fact when Paola’s best friend goes missing, and to save her, Paola has to enter a world of mind-bending monsters and relentless spirits steeped in Latin folklore that defy both logic and legend." Disney Junior is developing Tiny Trailblazers, a series aimed at kids 2 to 7 that models positive attitudes about the great outdoors and highlight the importance of environmental conservation and wildlife protection. Witherspoon will not only executive produce, but voice one of the mom characters.
