Dexter revival will be set in upstate New York, but film in Massachusetts

The original Showtime series was filmed in Los Angeles and set in Miami, with its divisive finale taking place in an Oregon logging camp. Filming is expected to begin next month in Massachusetts. Meanwhile, Dexter has rounded out its cast with Julia Jones, Alano Miller, Johnny Sequoyah and Jack Alcott.
