The Oscar-winning actor voluntarily surrendered to the NYPD this afternoon and was arrested and charged with forcible touching, a misdemeanor, after a woman accused him of groping her breast in a New York City bar on Sunday. Gooding's arrest comes on the 25th anniversary of O.J. Simpson being briefly handcuffed and questioned hours after the murders of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman. Gooding earned an Emmy nomination for playing Simpson in the 2016 FX series The People v. O. J. Simpson: American Crime Story.
